Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world which is 8,167 meters (26,795 ft) above sea level and the highest mountain within the borders of a single country (Nepal). Geographically, it is a land of dramatic contrast. Trekking around the giant Himalayan Peak Dhaulagiri (7th highest Himalayan Peaks of the world) is one of the most challenging treks The massive mountains range of Dhaulagiri consisting of fifteen 7000 meter peaks is magnificent. Trekking off the main paths is not only possible but can be immensely rewarding, though you do need a sense of adventure and an increased ability to deal with unexpected.

This program is 23 days program which will take you to the Gandaki Gorge, the deepest Gorge of the world !! Dhaulagiri is without a doubt one of the astonishing "white mountain" though many of the mountains around the world have the same name when it is translated. This is recently opened trekking region which gives you more reason to visit and experience the thrilling excitement.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu Arrival Our representative will pick you up from the airport and will transfer you to the hotel. We will brief you about the tour in the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 02Kathmandu valley sightseeing and prepare for Dhaulagiri base camp trekkingThis morning you will be taken for a visit to the Hindu temple in Nepal, Pashupatinath. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where Buddhists devout come on a pilgrimage. And Swyambunath which is also known as monk Temple. And after that we will prepare for Dhaulagiri base camp trekking.

Day 03Drive Kathmandu to Beni and overnight at beni Today we will leave for the first day of the Dhaulagiri trek. We have to drive approximately 7-8 hours to Beni on bus/private vehicle. Overnight at Beni.

Day 04Beni to Darbang and Overnight at DarbangToday we will drive from Beni to Darbang (1030m).It will take approximately 4-5 hours to reach Darbang

Day 05Darbang to Sibang and Overnight at hotel Today we will start our trek by walking to Sibang from Darbang (1720m).We will walk approximately 5-6 hours to reach Sibang. Overnight at Sibang

Day 06Sibang to Muri Today we will trek to Muri from sibang (1840) .We will walk to Muri in about 5-6 hours .At night we will have dinner at local guest house and get sleep and be ready for upcoming trek

Day 07Muri to Boghara Today We will trek to Boghara From Muri which is 1990 meter far away. We have to walk approximately for 5-6 hours. After a long day, we will rest and stay at Boghara.

Day 08Boghara to Dobang Today we will walk to Bogara from Dobang which is 2400meter far away and we will have to walk approximately for 5-6 hours to reach Dobang. Overnight at Dobang

Day 09Dobang to Chartare Today we will trek to Chartare which is 2820 meter far and have to walk for like 5-6 hours to reach Chartare from Dobang.Overnight at Chartare.

Day 10Day 10: Chartare to Pakabon Today we will trek to Pakabon from Chartare which is 3585 meters far away. We have to walk approximately 5-6 hours to reach Pakabon . Overnight at Pakabon.

Day 11Pakabon to camp near glacier (3810m) Walk approximately 5-6 hours Today we will walk to camp near glacier which is 3810 meter far away. We have to walk for like 5 -6 hours. Overnight at camp

Day 12Dhaulagiri glacier camp to Dhaulagiri base camp Today we will trek from Dhaulagiri glacier camp to Dhaulagiri base camp which is 4750 meter far away

Day 13Acclimatization at Mt. Dhulagiri Base Camp Today we will stay at Dhaulagiri for acclimatization we will stay

Day 14Dhaulagiri base camp to Hidden valley (4900m), French pass (5360m) cross Walk approximately 6-7 hours Today we will trek to Dhaulagiri base camp to hidden valley which is 4900 meter far so we will walk for approximately 6-7 hours

Day 20Ghorepani to PoonHill Trek 3210M Early in the morning hike to poon hill 3210 one of the best view point centre of Annapurna region trekking including Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II, III, IV , Fishtail , Nilgiri, Annapurna south, Himchuli , Lamjung Himal etc, breakfast at Ghorepani & trek to Tikhedunga / Hile (1577m) walk approximately 5-6 hours

Day 21Tikhedhunga / Hile trek to Nayapul (867m) Walk approximately 3 hours then by private vehicle drive to Pokhara (915m), Drive approximately 1 hours 30 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara

Day 22Pokhara by bus or flight back to Kathmandu (1350m)Drive approximately 5-6 hours, by flight 35 minutes, We will arrange either overland transportation by tourist bus, by private vehicle or by flight as per trekkers choice.

Day 23Departure After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities, Our representative will drop you to Kathmandu international airport for onward journeys or you can carry on with your next trip.
