Experience Nepal Tour of 8 days starts with a visit to the Pokhara Valley then to the Chitwan district and then to the Nagarkot village and at last to the starting point of the trek, Kathmandu Valley. In the Pokhara Valley, we will be able to visit the Sarangkot hill, Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple, David’s Fall and the Phewa Lake. In the Chitwan district, we will be able to enjoy the flora and fauna of the region with two types of crocodiles: Marsh Mugger and Gharial. We will also be able to witness the endangered one horned rhino and also the royal bengal tiger. In Nagarkot, we will get the broadest views of the himalayas. And, at last in the capital city of Nepal, we will explore the UNESCO world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath which have different and unique styles of their own.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu Our representative will pick you up at the airport and guide you to your hotel room. In the evening, we will meet in a welcome dinner party and brief you about the tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02Kathmandu to PokharaAfter breakfast, a 6 hours drive will take us to the lake city of Pokhara. Sleeping 200 kms west of the capital city of Kathmandu, this city is also called the ‘Cherapunji of Nepal’ as it receives the heaviest and recurring rainfall. Pokhara, 2nd most expensive city of Nepal, contains the world’s 3 highest peaks viz. the Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and the Manaslu. Panoramic views of high peaks, enchanting waterfalls, mysterious caves and beautiful lakes sum up the city of Pokhara. Enjoy short walks along the bank of the Phewa Lake in the evening. Day 03Sightseeing in PokharaWake up to the sunrise view over the top of the high sitting peaks. Hike up to the most popular viewpoint of the region, the Sarangkot Hill, early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise views over the top of the Annapurna massif and the Fish Tail Mountain. Return to the hotel for breakfast and visit the Bindhyabasini Temple situated at the center of the old bazar of the valley. The temple signifies the ancient Newar architecture and craftsmanship. From there, we will visit another famous temple of Lord Shiva known as the Gupteshwor Mahadev which resides within a cave. Near the cave is the most popular waterfall of the region, the David’s fall. We will row a boat in the Phewa Lake to admire the beautiful reflection of the Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04Pokhara to ChitwanWe wake up to the sunrise for a second day in the lake city of Pokhara and set off to Chitwan after having a hearty breakfast at the hotel. A 5 hours drive through green fields, rushing rivers and beautiful sceneries will take us 86 kms far from the lake city and land us in the fifth largest city of Nepal. After an hour of rest in the hotel, we will walk around the district along the banks of the Rapti River to view the entrancing sunset over the lush green forest. We will enjoy a cultural program performed by the local ethnic group in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05Explore ChitwanA slow wake-up call and a filling breakfast before the visit to the elephant breeding center to see baby elephants. We will visit the bank of the Rapti River for bird watching and go for a Canoe ride along the river. We will also be able to see two rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and Gharial, the only fish eating breed of crocodile. Walks along the natural vegetation will show us the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Elephant Safari is the most popular outdoor activity of the region. We will be able to see various kinds of deers, monkeys, leopards, bear, sloths and the endangered species of One-horned Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06Chitwan to Kathmandu and NagarkotA 158 kms drive back to the capital city of Kathmadnu after breakfast along the bumpy and windy roads. We will drive towards a former VDC of Nepal, Nagarkot which takes us about 2 hours from Kathmandu. We will visit one of the UNESCO listed world heritage sites, Bhaktapur Durbar Square en route. Bhaktapur showcases the ancient arts, architectures, culture and lifestyle of the predeceased Newar community. We will move to Nagarkot for the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathamdnu valley. 8 out of 13 mountain ranges can be seen from the village. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07Sightseeing in KathmanduAfter another look at the mountain ranges from the Nagarkot village, it’s time for us to explore the city of temples. We will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swoyambhunath, all of which are listed under the UNESCO world heritage sites. Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the old palaces of the Malla and Shah rulers that ruled Nepal. The place is famous for its museum and the Kumari Ghar, the home of the living goddess. Swoyambhu has 365 steps up front which, when climbed will take us to the top of the temple. The stupa has various small stupas and temples, shrines, a museum and a huge ‘bajra’. From the top of Swoyambhunath, whole of the Kathmandu Valley can be seen. Pashupatinath holds its values to the devotees of the Lord Shiva. It is one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva. And, Boudhanath is the center of faith for the Buddhists. It is the largest stupa of Nepal rich in traditional Buddhist arts and culture. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08DepartureOne of our representatives will pick you up at the hotel and guide you to the sole international airport of Nepal.
