Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrive at paro Airport and drive to Thimpu Before reaching out of Paro airport, immigration formalities of your visa take few time. Meet your guide outside of airport and transfer to modern capital of Bhutan, Thimpu. It is 65 kilometer and takes 1 and half hour by driving. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02Sightseeing in ThimpuVisit National library (House of collection of priceless Buddhist manuscript), Folk Heritage Museum (Fascinating testimony of Bhutanese material culture and living traditions), King’s memorial Chorten (Oldest monument of world’s peace and prosperity). Evening visit government craft center and overnight at Hotel in Thimpu.

Day 03Drive Thimpu to Punakha 1310m (75 Km, 3 hours) Early drive to Punakha passing through Dochu-La pass (3088m) from where exploring view of highest peak of Bhutanese Himalayas over seven thousand meters. Alter visit Punakha Ahong build in 1637 Ad. Overnight at Hotel in Punakha.

Day 04Drive Punakha to Paro (125 km, 4 hours)Visit Simtokkha Dzong build in 17th century and it is house of language and cultural studies. Another visit to Rimpung Dzong by walking hillside trail. Reach at paro and overnight at Hotel.

Day 05Sightseeing in paro Drive to up valley view the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong than an excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest). The most famous among Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Ripoche came here on the back of Tiger and meditated here hence it is called Tiger Nest. On the way visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and sacred shrines of the Kingdom. Overnight at Hotel in paro.

Day 06Deaprture from Paro Early breakfast in your hotel and drive to Airport for flight to your onward destination. Your guide will help you exit formalities in Airport. Service End !
