Glimpses of Nepal offer us enlightenment of the unique art, architecture, culture and tradition of the Nepalese society. The tour starts with a sightseeing visit to the UNESCO listed world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit the Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Bouddhanath and the Kathmandu Durbar Square on the first day. In the second day, we will move towards the beautiful city of Nagarkot, which provides us the broadest sunrise view of the Himalayas within the Kathmandu Valley. From there, we will be moving back to the city of Bhaktapur and Patan to explore the beauty of the ancient architecture of the Newar community in two of the famous durbar squares. Attractions of this trek include the three durbar squares of the valley, Nepal’s biggest stupa Bouddhanath, Holiest place of the Hindus Pashupatinath and the second most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site of Swoyambhunath. Other attractions include the 55 window palace, Nyatapola temple, statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple and many other architectural sites.
This trip can be completed within 4 days with a group of two or more people. The tour can be made at any time of the year with minimum style.

Day 01Arrival in KathmanduOur representative will pick you up at the airport and guide you to your hotel room. We will meet up in a welcome dinner party in the evening where you will be briefed about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02Sightseeing in KathmanduToday we explore the capital city of Nepal. We visit all the UNESCO listed world heritage sites of the valley and get interesting information about the unique art and architecture of the ancient Nepal. We will start with a visit to the Kathmandu Durbar Square, an old palace built during the reign of the Malla and Shah Kings. In the square, we will be able to see various temples, a museum and the home of the living goddess, Kumari. Then, we will visit the religious site of Swoyambhunath. It is a collection of various shrines, temples, a museum and a library. Whole of the Kathmandu Valley can be seen from the top of the Swoyambhunath. After lunch, we will visit the holy Lord Shiva temple of Pashupatinath. The temple is a holy place for the people of the Hindu Religion. The temple is famous for a festival called the ‘Shivaratri’. After that, we will move towards the stupa of Bouddhanath to explore the unique culture and art of the Tibetan influenced Nepalese Buddhist. Bouddhanath is the biggest stupa of Nepal. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03Kathmandu to NagarkotEarly in the morning, we will visit the municipality of Nagarkot for its splendid sunrise views over the mountains. The town offers the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley. 8 out of 13 mountain ranges can be seen from the village. In the afternoon, we will visit the other 2 palaces of the Kathmandu Valley which were made during the reign of the Malla and Shah Kings. First, we will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square with at least four district squares. Major attractions of this place are the 55 window palace with a balcony of fifty-five windows, statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Nyatapola Temple symbolizing the five basic elements and other temples and gates. From there, we will move on to the next square of Patan. Major attractions of this square are the Krishna Mandir, the most important temple of the square with golden pinnacles, Bhimsen Temple famous for its three interconnected golden temples, Taleju Bhawani Temple with five storey and triple roofs and other chowks. Back to the hotel at Kathmandu for another overnight stay.
