Langtang Gosaikunda is significant place of interest on the Langtang trekking route. Trekking to Gosaikunda provides you opportunity to explore the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes at Gosaikunda. You can view the Nepal's forth national park and first Himalaya national park i.e. Langtang National Park. You will trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful mountains views. Following the Trishuli River north out of Kathmandu, you travel through Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubesi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. You then swing east into the Langtang valley, crossing the river several times as you travel up along a gorge-like, lower section of the valley. You pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even cross glacial moraine on your way to the Tamang village of Langtang.

A little further up the valley is Kyangin Gompa, where you stop overnight and sample the local yak cheese. You pass through Nubamatang, nestled in a hidden valley, on your way up to view the glaciers, which mark the gateway into Tibet. You travel through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a high plateau, where the sacred lake Gosinkund is located. Crossing the Lauribinayak Pass (4610m.), you continue south, leaving the Langtang region behind you as you travel through the Helambu valley to Gul Bhanjyang and reach near Kathmandu valley at the end of your trek.

17 days Langtang Gosakunda Trekking also includes one full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, rich with art and architectures. Trekking route was heavily damage by earthquake on 25th April 2015. Local peoples have established their local tea house and trekking path is usual. Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel (1300m) Overnight at Hotel Ganga Jamauna Adverture Treks representative will pick up you from International Airport and transfer to Hotel in Thamel. Discuss about your trip, meet your guide and evening typical Nepali dinner in cultural Nepali restaurant.

Day 02Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and preparation of your trek. Overnight at Hotel Start sightseeing in Kathmandu valley after your breakfast in Hotel. Cover 3 UNESCO heritage sides. Biggest Buddhist temple Bauddanath Stupa, Sacred Hindu Temple Pashupatinath and old palace Kathmandu Durbar squire.

Day 03Drive to Syaprubesi (8 Hours – 1550m) Overnight at tea house Start drive with private and 4W Jeep to Syaprubesi. Driving in mountain road is scenic hills and Mountain View. Only 145 kilometer driving takes 8 hours via terrace field and rural villages. Reach Shyaprubesi by late afternoon and camp.

Day 04Trek to Lama Hotel (6/7 Hours - 2380m) overnight at tea house Tour first day trekking start from Syaprubesi after your breakfast. Passing through Local village, forested area and Rivers along your walking. Not challenging trail including ups and down

Day 05Trek to Langtang Village (6/7 hours – 3430m) Overnight at tea house Walking through Rhododendron and pine forest, trail begin scenic with mountain and nice valley of Langtang. After walking around 3 hours we reach at Ghoda tabela, where we will have our luncha. Another 3 hours easy walking reach at Langtang and overnight.

Day 06Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (2/3 Hours – 3870m) Overnight at tea house Walking through largest Mani walls and prayers flags. By short walking, you will reach at Kyanjin Gumpa and place is surrounding by Himalayas all around. Take rest and acclimatization. Kyanjin Gumba is the last destination of this trekking.

Day 07Exploration of Kyanjin Gumpa, Climb Tserko Ri (5150m) Overnight at Kyanjin Gumpa in tea house Early in the morning hike to Tserko-Ri for mountain sunrise view. View of Langtang glacier, beautiful Yak grass land LANGSHISHA KHARKA and Mountain views surroundings. Back to Kyanjin Gumpa and explore Kyanjin Monastery and Cheese factory.

Day 08Trek back to Lama Hotel (6/7 Hours 2380m) Overnight at tea house Same way trekking back to Lama Hotel via Langtang village. it is all the way walking down. trail is comparatively long but takes less time. All the way downhill but you will see fantastic views of towering mountain what you have missed on the way up.

Day 09Trek to Thuloshyapru (5/6 Hours - 2230m) Overnight at tea house First trail decent to river, cross the river and ascend to Thulo Syabru. You will see the fascinating view of Langtang Himal and more. On the way of your trek you will pass through pine and Junieerps forests

Day 10Trek to Sing Gompa (5/6 hours - 3250m) Overnight at tea house You take the broad trail climbing up to Dimsa village and the trial continues less steeply, through rhododendron, hemlock and Oak forests to Sing Gompa. Fantastic views of Langtang Himal and langtang valley. Sing Gompa is another popular place for Yak Cheese.

Day 11Trek to Gosaikunda (5/6 Hours - 4380m) Overnight at tea house Beginning trail ascends smoothly through rhododendron covered point to the top of the rim and through a forested area. Climb a wider route through alpine country to arrive at a Gosainkunda. Explore around the Lakes and overnight.

Day 12Trek to Ghopte via Gosaikunda pass, 4610m (6 hours -3430m) Overnight at tea house The trail leaves Gosaikund and climbs through rugged country, past four small lakes to the Gosaikunda Pass (4610 meters), the highest point of this trek. Keep looking back at the spectacular views of Manaslu and the mountains of the Ganesh Himal, as well as the now familiar Langtang Lirung. You then descend steeply to Ghopte.

Day 13Trek to Kutumsang (6/7 hours - 2470m) overnight at tea house.The trail from Gopte to Kutumsang is keep ups and down hill. When we reach to Tharepati we can see the view of Dorje Lakpa, Shisha panngma and others peaks. From here, we hike through Magin Goth and then Kutumsang.

Day 14Trek to Chisapani (6/7 Hours - 2230m) Overnight at local hotel After breakfast, trek carries on the trail ascends the ridge and downhill to Gul Bhanjyang, Tamang village, trail descends to Pati Bhanjyang (1770m) then climb about an hour to Chisopani. Chisapani is a country side from Kathmandu.

Day 15Trek to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu (4 hours - 1350m) Overnight at Hotel All the way downhill trekking up to Sundarijal. it is 3 hours trekking in hilly road through jungle and small villages. another 1 hours is to drive with our cat to Kathmandu from Sundarijal. Transfer to hotel

Day 16Day rest in Kathmandu Day rest in Kathmandu. you still can choose some sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. it is depend on your interest. You also can do last hour shopping.

Day 17Departure from Kathmandu we transfer you to international airport for your final departure
